it is with the deepest sadness and heartbreak that i share the passing of my soul sister, my best friend, and my role model, parvin. 🤍 these have been the most unbearable weeks of my life. i can’t eat. i can’t sleep. i can’t talk. nothing feels real. parvin’s room was right across from mine growing up. every morning i would knock on her door and ask her to braid my hair before school. she took me to my first soccer practice, made drills with me so i could make the team, and was there when i scored my first goal. she was the first person i called and said i was getting engaged. the day before she passed she showed me the dress she got for my wedding. she had the first baby in our house, and i remember coming home that all nighter in the hospital to passing the baby in between our rooms. you were the best mom, and your daughters were your whole world. everyone would say, “wow, she’s so beautiful,” but that never came close to describing who she really was. her beauty was in her heart. she was selfless, gentle, and had the kindest soul. my favorite memory is our last girls trip. we were the only ones who wanted to go horseback riding, and she convinced everyone else to come. with our last $20, she insisted on buying carrots for all the horses. when they brought back too few, she made them go back for 4 more BAGS 😭 that’s just who she was. she cared so deeply for everyone and everything. she loved her family, animals, traveling. she was so full of life and had so much more life to live. i never saw you without a smile. you always reminded me to protect my peace and be careful of jealousy and the evil eye. looking back, it was you who needed that protection. nothing could have prepared us for the phone call that changed our lives forever. we promise to do right by your girls, continue seeking justice for you, and keep your memory alive. 🤍 i was reluctant to share this publicly, but i ask one thing: please pray for parvin. pray that god forgives her shortcomings, fills her grave with light, grants her the highest level of paradise, gives our family patience, and watches over her beautiful daughters. until we meet again, my beautiful sister. i love you forever. ❤️
