Okay, first of all, HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to every mom out there, you're doing a great job and I'm so proud of you! (This is the short form of your story paragraph🫰🏼)But today I want to honor MY mom. At first she was just Dia, then she was Dodo, then she was my best friend, and then she got my "Mama Dianaushi." I don't know what I did to deserve you or that you and your family welcomed me so warmly just because I was unlucky with the family I was born into. Because I not only gained you, but also my little sisters +🥹 and Kassy and Boba, and it means the world to me that you trust me so much, that I can have such an important place in your life. But let's get to you. You became a young mother and faced enormous challenges, yet you're still here despite everything that's happened, and are therefore a role model for so many people, especially for Amelia, Medina, Nat, Gen, and me. I can tell you every single day how proud I am of you and how grateful I am that you opened up to me and took me in when my mother once again chose my father over her children. You've always helped me, cheered me up, and spoken kindly to me, like a mother does. But I don't take that for granted because you're also experiencing life for the first time, and you're a first-time mom too. Some adults can't manage it, and you can't, but you're mastering it even though you're so young. And your words about your home being mine, that you'd bring me in if things got out of hand, and that you'd do more (which I won't say here) made me cry because I know I'll never be alone as long as I have you.
