On this day 43 years ago, a toddler mysteriously vanished from her South Side home, but her mother holds out hope her daughter is living a healthy, happy life. For decades, Kathy Teague has believed her daughter was abducted and is living somewhere in the world, with no knowledge of her past. Vinyette Teague was just 18 months old when she last seen on June 25,, 1983. She’d been playing in the hallway outside of the family’s apartment at the Robert Taylor Homes. A large group, including some family members, was also there. Her grandmother left her alone for a few minutes when she returned, Vinyette was gone. If you have any information about the disappearance of Vinyette Teague, call the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children at 1-800-THE-LOST. #missingperson #missingchild #humantrafficking #chicago
