Referee Michael Salisbury has gone against his VAR in awarding Manchester United's second goal against Nottingham Forest. The handball check came after the ball struck Bryan Mbeumo on the arm before the ball was put in the back of the net by Matheus Cunha. The decision was checked for over three minutes by VAR before sending the referee to the monitor. After a further minute of review the goal stood and United went in to a dubious 2-1 lead. Gary Neville described the incident on commentary as a ‘clear handball in the build up to a goal’. Should the goal have been given? #MUFC #football #VAR #PL
