For the dads who said no to everything and yes to survival. 🤎 I didn't always understand my dad growing up. The "no's" felt personal. The strictness felt like he just didn't care about the things that mattered to me. It took becoming a parent myself to realize he was carrying something I couldn't see as a kid. Some things make more sense now. Some things still sting. And that's okay too.
