Amy Mullis was found with a corn rake in her back, lying on the floor of a shed on the family’s hog farm. Prosecutors said Amy was struck by her husband, Todd, who was convicted of murder. But their son Trysten, who was working in the barn with his father the day Amy died, says the only time he was away from his dad was when he went to get a quick drink of water. That’s not enough time, he says, for his father to run from the barn to the shed, kill Amy, and run back again. Now, brother-sister attorneys Daniel and Dina Nesheiwat are working to overturn the conviction. Daniel ran the route Todd would have had to take – it’s the length of nearly four football fields. Don’t miss the all-new episode, “The Corn Rake Witness,” 9/8c on CBS. Or stream it the following day on Paramount+. #truecrime #Iowa #48hours #news
