Protesters formed a human wall to impede my movement at the NRG subway station in South Philadelphia. The protesters arrived at NRG subway station to protest the Ed Sheeran concert happening at Lincoln Financial Field. Macklemore was recently banned from Gillette Stadium after the MetLife incident where he said “Free Palestine” and has been removed from Ed Sheeran’s tour entirely, with all of the other opening acts withdrawing as well. Ed Sheeran had to perform with no opening acts and struggled to sell tickets for the Philly show. It instantly became clear that they didn’t care about free speech. They only wanted to use the incident as a reason to organize on the streets of South Philly in an attempted display of dominance. They were quickly distracted once I approached them though, and they immediately turned their protest into an Anti-Frank Scales protest. Why is the left so scatterbrained?
