These smothered chicken legs were SO easy and the gravy???SO good! 😮‍💨 SMOTHERED CHICKEN LEGS 🍗 What I used: • 8 chicken drumsticks • My preferred seasonings • 1 packet Lipton Onion Soup Mix • approx. ¼ cup chicken broth • 1 can Cream of Chicken • Additional chicken broth, as needed • Bell peppers + tri-color peppers • ½ yellow onion How I made it: 1. Season your chicken legs generously with your favorite seasonings. 2. Dissolve the Lipton Onion Soup Mix in about ¼ cup chicken broth. 3. Mix in the Cream of Chicken and add a little more chicken broth until you get a smooth, pourable gravy. 4. Add your peppers and onion to the bottom of a baking dish. 5. Place the seasoned chicken legs on top and pour the gravy all over the chicken. 6. Top with a few more veggies and cover tightly with aluminum foil. 7. Bake at 375°F for 35 minutes. 8. Flip the chicken, give the gravy a little stir, cover it back up and bake for another 35 minutes. 9. Remove the chicken and pour the gravy into a pan. Bring it to a simmer and let it reduce until it thickens up. 10. Add the chicken back into the pan and coat it in ALL that gravy. 🤤 Serve over rice with your favorite veggie and you’ve got yourself a plate!
