this wouldn't fix traffic now that i think about it Biological wheels sound great on paper (we ALL want them), but they fall apart completely when you look at how real living tissue actually works. A functioning wheel has to spin freely around an axle without being tethered down, but our bodies rely on a constant network of blood vessels and nerves to keep limbs alive and responsive. If a leg tried to rotate continuously like a tire, all those critical veins and nerve lines would instantly twist up, snap, and cut off blood flow. On top of that, evolution can only tweak existing body parts bit by bit over generations, and half a detached bone joint doesn't give an animal any real survival advantage while it's developing. Plus, when you consider that nature is full of jagged rocks, deep mud, and thick underbrush, stepping over obstacles with legs is almost always a better strategy than rolling into them anyway.
